Sunflower Bank, N.A is looking for a highly motivated individual to fill the position of a full-time Application Engineer. The Application Engineer is responsible for providing Level I and Level II application support on common office productivity tools and devices. This position researches and responds to user requests and questions, and remediates complex issues within our application systems.
Provide technical support for banking application-related issues, including troubleshooting and resolving problems.Monitor application performance and ensure system availability and reliability.Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify and fix bugs.Assist in the deployment and configuration of banking applications.Document support processes and maintain accurate records of issues and resolutions.Conduct training sessions for users on application features and best practices.Stay updated with the latest application updates and industry trends.Responsible for developing and maintaining systems and applications in alignment with SBNA security controls and standards related to protecting sensitive data for compliance with Gramm Leach Bliley Act (GLBA).Education / Experience Preferred:
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.Minimum of five years of experience providing application support, specializing in COTS applications to include all common office productivity tools.Operational knowledge of condition monitoring and associate applications.Demonstrated project management abilities.Pay is dependent on knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, and location.
