This posting is for an Application Engineer - III within the Fraud Modernization Program. Our team directly supports Vanguards global fraud prevention team & oversees all fraud prevention controls used by Vanguards various businesses.
This engineer will be supporting vendor tools & cloud applications that provide our GFPT team insight into fraud events & mechanisms to prevent such events from occurring. We use predominantly Node.js/TypeScript & AWS services.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience (5+ years) as a software engineer working on an agile development team.
- Previous experience working on both backend and front end applications written in relevant JavaScript/TypeScript based frameworks
- Experience using and deploying applications on common AWS services
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong sense of ownership over you work.
Nice to haves:
- Prior Fraud related experience or interest
- Security related experience or interest
- Experience working in cross-functional programs
