Oversee the mechanical and biological commissioning of anaerobic and aerobic industrial wastewater treatment and waste-to-energy systems (including, but not limited to, BVF reactors, membrane bioreactors, sequencing batch reactors, and biogas scrubbing technologies, both full-scale and pilot-scale). Provide on-site training of proper operation and maintenance of industrial biological wastewater treatment systems. Provide continued aftercare services for existing customers, including operating data reviews, remote troubleshooting, and periodic site visits. Review mechanical drawing packages during system detailed design to ensure compliance with process requirements. Prepare technical proposals for anaerobic and aerobic industrial wastewater treatment and waste-to-energy systems. Perform process evaluation and the process design in support of anaerobic and aerobic treatment systems projects. Collaborate with the sales team to assess customer requirements and determine the most suitable process solutions. Work with drafters to create drawings. Design and pilot testing of alternative methods of treatments. Generate customer proposals and ensure approval at the appropriate levels. Advise on sales and marketing efforts. Contribute to the development of business processes and standard tools.
40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS** :
Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field, and five (5) years of post-bachelor, progressive, related work experience
Must have five (5) years of experience with/in:
+ Commissioning wastewater treatment systems;
+ Reviewing process design and mechanical drawings;
+ Applying knowledge of standard equipment platforms and their employment to achieve customer desired outcome;
+ Applying advanced 3rd party components in new application;
+ Developing and executing of project strategy; and
+ Providing training to other engineers and clients.
50% of domestic travel required.
100% telecommuting permitted.
Salary range:
$93,900.00 - $169,000.00
