For our location in Dortmund, which is specialized in the development, production and global distribution of customer-specific sealing solutions in the area of gas and liquid-lubricated mechanical seals for compressors, turbines, pumps, agitators, etc., we are looking for an experienced Application Engineer (M/F/T) Compressor and Mixer Seals.

You will act as a product specialist in a team and work closely with the sales, development, and other specialist departments at the site.

Tasks:

Timely preparation of technical offers for compressor seals, mixer seals and sealing systems

Contact person for technical and commercial customer inquiries

Ensuring technical and marketing support for Customers and sales team

Checking the offer for price as well as delivery and payment conditions

Technical follow-up with customers, suppliers, and internal cross functional parties

Collaborate with the global systems team on panel designs and retrofit projects

Support in the development and maintenance of sales tools including reference lists, status updates, installation lists, data analysis on regional revenues coming from installed base

Supporting purchasing in determining the price of purchased components

Participation in exciting and challenging interdisciplinary projects of the entire site

Participation in scheduled training courses

Your Profile:

Successfully completed degree in Sales Engineering and Product Management (SEPM), Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar

Knowledge in the field of rotating equipment, thermodynamics and sales and project management is an advantage

Hands-on mentality when solving technical problems

Very good knowledge of German and English

Good knowledge of MS Office programs, as well as SAP & CRM tools

High level of commitment and flexibility, as well as excellent communication skills and enthusiasm
