A financial firm is looking for an Application Production Support Analyst to join their team in New York, NY.

Pay: $54/hr
Coverage: Normal shift, Weekend support, Holiday work, late shift in rotations and extended shifts at times
Bachelors Degree Required 

Responsibilities: Production Management, Root Cause analysis and resolution in line with SRE principles, SDLC and Change Management rules 3rd party software maintenance, entitlements management, integration testing, and deployment Resilience and DR testing: Developing and enforcing infrastructure best practices for 3rd party and internally developed applicationsQualifications: Experience of managing, deploying to and debugging large scale production environments Able to write secure, testable, robust code Experience with Change Management and Problem management practices Experience with Perl or Python development for automation 3 years of Enterprise Level Experience in Large Distributed Environment Experience with Linux System Administration preferably Red Hat Knowledge of TCP/IP, Experience with networking and security concepts, implementation, and troubleshooting Experience with monitoring tools and solutions Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in a highly visible faced paced enterprise environment Ability to work with a global team Understanding of Problem and Change Management Practices. Understanding of SLA, Metrics, and Alerts Strong communication skills Coding experience with Perl/Python and shell scripting Experience automating workflow
