Application Sales Consultant - Electrical

Position Overview International is currently seeking an Application Sales Consultant - Electrical to join our team. As an Application Sales Consultant - Electrical, you will play a critical role, acting directly as a hands-on, body-to-chassis integration authority. You will work directly with Truck Equipment Manufactures (TEM) that design, build and mount bodies onto our truck chassis. Integrations are as simple as a box, dump beds and as complicated as concrete, tankers, street sweeper, vacuum and hydro-excavator, to name a few. You will need a strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, ability to work in a customer/supplier environment. Responsibilities Consult with International’s dealers to ensure proper chassis configuration. Integrate our electrical system “Diamond Logic Builder” (DLB) for chassis body integration Assembling Vocational trucks is a team effort. You will work with our electrical and mechanical departments, along with external customers, offering feedback for product improvements International’s Vocational sales strategy will supply technical support to the vocational industry, making our chassis the easiest and most cost-effective chassis to build upon. International developed its own proprietary PLC electrical system DLB Diamond Logic Builder provides intelligent electrical input/outputs for the Vocational bodies, based off chassis and body functions You will make meaningful contributions to vocational segment strategy and market share You will acquire or expand your management capabilities and manage your own schedule This is a dynamic position and provides exposure to the intricate Vocational truck industry Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree At least 8 years of sales experience At least 1 year of lead experience OR Master’s degree At least 6 years of sales experience At least 1 year of lead experience OR At least 10 years of sales experience At least 1 year of lead experience Additional Requirements Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
