Application Security Specialist Job Description: A proven collaborator and proactive problem solver, you seek to drive improvements in the end-to-end product/system lifecycle spanning the whole SDLC and post launch operations, covering our customer-facing products and internally developed colleague-facing applications. A self-starter with an ability to listen and build strong professional relationships to solve organisational challenges you will work closely with the Application Security Team, Sage’s network of Security Champions and colleagues from across the product organisation and wider. You will focus energy on working with security champions to develop a strong security culture and capability across the business. You will be responsible for ensuring that new product/system releases are secure and that vulnerabilities discovered in live products and systems are quickly and effectively addressed. Key Responsibilities: -Working with Security Awareness and Engagement and Security Champions to develop a strong security capability in assigned Product Engineering or Enterprise Application Development teams -Driving continual improvement in the secure software development lifecycle Acts as the main point of contact on security issues for Product Delivery and EAD teams on assigned products -Assessing assigned new and existing Sage products, application or systems to identify security weaknesses and creating improvement plans where required -Support security compliance as it relates to assigned products -Contributing to the development and continual improvement of methodologies, standards, tools and approaches for the team -Takes ownership of own career, identifying technical and non-technical areas for improvement/development -Managing own workload to ensure delivery to expected quality and timescales -Maintains awareness of the changing threat landscape by participating in and sometimes contributing to relevant security groups, forums, events or conferences Function: Global Information Security Country: India Office Location: Bangalore Work Place type: Hybrid Advert Working at Sage means you’re supporting millions of small and medium sized businesses globally with technology to work faster and smarter.
