Danfoss Climate Solutions is looking for an innovative and execution-oriented Application Software Developer with a strong background of Cooling/Heating Systems and a high sense for Software Development, that is motivated by building best-in-class digital projects and maintaining industry leading digital solutions. 

 

You will join a highly skilled and diverse team that play a central role in the Danfoss Digital Transformation journey and is currently developing and maintaining digital apps used by more than 100.000 users worldwide.  

 

In this role, you will be part of the Danfoss Climate Solution Applications, Systems and Technology organization and reporting to the Head of Virtual System Solutions. Danfoss Climate Solutions is a global leader in applications and systems by bundling application and system competencies and knowledge Our foundation are the people.  

 

We need your dedicated contribution in combining our Application and System knowledge with innovative Software Solutions. You will be part of our journey towards Agile transformation and Business Model Disruption .

Job Responsibilities

In this role, you will work both with your individual tasks and responsibilities as well as with managing and owning projects. The position requires a collaborative and flexible approach, as you will be working individually on projects, but at the same time collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. 

 

Your primary job responsibilities will include: 

 
 

Be responsible for developing, maintaining, testing, and evaluating software solutions  Be responsible for thermodynamic algorithm used in software  Utilize wireframes, mockups, and simple prototypes to pitch ideas, test and recommend improvements  Analyze insights from our digital platforms to understand customer behavior  Help to design and improve the entire digital customer experience  Stay updated on recent trends and opportunities in the digital landscape  Working with customers, internal and external partners, University and start-up companies  Deep system knowledge for differentiated innovative solutions  Background & Skills

Your educational background is not that important, but you need to have an innovative and execution driven mindset, and a good understanding of heating and cooling applications. Experience working in a matrix environment is an advantage, and you should also have a track record in collaborating with external partners and off-shoring of design and development activities. You possess an understanding of Agile/Scrum methods and can apply these to project management e.g.:
