Position Description
MDOT operations have a comprehensive Information Technology (IT) portfolio of over 150 distinct applications. The DTMB Construction Delivery Section, along with it MDOT business partners, is responsible to provide software maintenance and operations support for the portfolio. Additionally, Construction Delivery Systems section provides resources for new and on-gong development efforts in support of MDOT’s Call for Projects. TO Ramp up the DTMB Construction Delivery Section WebTrnsport unit systems development team one developer position is required to complete the development project in a timely manner and also to provide quality customer support. The resource is needed to have experience that can provide technical support as well as knowledge transfer to the existing team. The resource will report directly to the Construction Delivery Systems Manager.
Skills Required
One (1) Developer: Application/Software Developer capabilities with 3 or more years of experience, relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, performs a variety of complicated tasks, may lead and direct the work of others, may report directly to a project lead or manager, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. The Resource needs good working experience with SQL and C# to create reports using Active Reports Tool. The resource will have QA testing experience, also able to answer calls on a help desk. Provide technical support to Construction Delivery Section and knowledge transfer to state resources to help develop reports in Active Reports using SQL and C#. Also, this resource would be required to do QA testing for WebTrnsport. Technical support is required to assist with the following tasks (In a production environment): Code Development Report Development QA/Testing In-Stage and Peer Reviews Help Desk Develop SQL Queries

Software development capabilities with 3 or more years of experience, relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, performs a variety of complicated tasks, may report directly to a project lead or manager, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
