Application Support Engineer

What You'll Do: + Provide expert support for Blackboard Student Information System (SIS), responding to inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and helping users get the most out of our platform. + Monitor, maintain, and optimize application performance to keep Blackboard SIS running smoothly and effectively. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze, resolve, and prevent issues while enhancing system functionality. + Develop documentation, user guides, and training materials to empower users and ensure seamless operations. What You Bring: + Experience with Blackboard SIS (hands-on support experience required). + Strong knowledge of application support practices, troubleshooting techniques, and IT service management. + Excellent communication skills to explain complex technical information in a simple, user-friendly way. + A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with an eye for detail and a knack for multitasking. Bonus Points For: + Knowledge of SQL, integrations, or scripting for customized solutions. + Familiarity with other educational software and SIS platforms.
