Description We are seeking a skilled Application Support Engineer to join our dynamic team in Central, New Jersey. As a vital part of our team, you will be in charge of software customization, client assistance, and maintaining a streamlined flow of operations. This role is integral to our commitment to providing excellent customer service and maintaining a high level of technical proficiency. Responsibilities: • Accurately manage software customization options and advanced feature sets to ensure efficient operation • Diligently record and monitor all client requests in the ticket system from initiation to closure, ensuring optimal customer service • Maintain lead time for software deliveries in line with managerial expectations • Provide high-level assistance to clients in understanding and modifying software forms to suit their operational needs • Develop and maintain a repository of all customization including binaries, specifications, and information to rebuild new configurations • Escalate major technical issues to the appropriate technical support staff and management, ensuring swift resolution • Conduct thorough testing of each software delivery before forwarding it to the Support and Validation department • Ensure accurate delivery of software customizations to the Support and Validation or Manufacturing Departments • Propose and implement procedural and product improvements relating to the machine software and customization, contributing to the continuous improvement of Operations • Document screen flow for all software to be submitted for approval by the customer, ensuring transparency and efficient communication.
