Kforce has a client that is seeking an Application Support - Infor/Lawson App Support in Grand Prairie, TX.
Summary:
We are looking for a well-rounded developer who can act as a generalist. In this role, you will support the team and organization on the existing day-to-day Lawson/Infor system while they migrate to Workday. This position manages and maintains business-specific applications, including testing, scheduling, deployment, and support of application patches and upgrades.
Essential Job Functions:
* Review business process needs and application functionality to identify features that could improve user experience or process efficiencies
* Works with business stakeholders and users to identify new application requirements and source applications to meet them
* Works with businesses to identify reporting requirements and integrate them; Provides vendor management and support escalations and follows through on problem resolution
* Assumes the role of Subject Matter Expert (SME) on a set of 3rd party applications supporting the entire lifecycle of the applications
* Collects requirements and performs analysis on 3rd party solutions for internal business
* Analyze the current applications to identify features that provide opportunities for improvements
* Maintains applications based on vendor direction and business needs (patch application, major upgrades including staging, pre-testing, and deployment)
* Works as a liaison with 3rd party application support teams for issue creation, management, escalation, and completion
* Provides customer support
* Participates in the evaluation and selection process for application packages
* Tracks and manages reviewing end-user, security, performance, and interoperability requirements
