OVERVIEW
Tatitlek Federal Services Inc. provides technical, management and operational support to the Department of Technology Services Information Technology Security Office (ITSO) for Security Mission Integration (SMI). SMI’s mission is to provide systems engineering, systems operations, data analytics, automation and programming services to other ITSO divisions and AO program offices.
The application support specialist provides technical support and maintenance for software applications. This role involves troubleshooting application issues, managing user access, performing system upgrades, and working closely with the developers to suggest improvements. In the event of an issue, they will be responsible for troubleshooting, event resolution and after-action reviews to improve documentation or processes. They will be responsible for proactively monitoring all supported applications to ensure their performance and useability.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ability to assess technology and processes to determine risks, regulatory impacts, and relationships with corresponding controls, gaps, and applicable testing strategiesAbility to document controls, assessments, effectively communicate technical and regulatory issues and impacts with a diverse audienceExperience building, executing, or managing end-to-end review, scoping, assessment, and reporting requirements for a regulatory or contractual compliance programExperience working Knowledge of IT controls/ IT auditing/Risk Assessment/Security/ComplianceKnowledge of frameworks and assessment practicesAbility to integrate control frameworks and regulations into enterprise controls and advise on control design to meet cybersecurity risk and compliance needsKnowledge of Agile practices and experience working with scrum teamsKnowledge and experience working in a diverse tooling, technology, and provider environments including custom software, commercial-off-the-shelf and third-party SaaS and PaaS solutionsKnowledge and experience applying and leading assessment best practicesStrong negotiation, facilitation and consensus building skillsStrong oral and written communication skills along with strategic and holistic thinkingMust be able to present to senior contributors and managementAbility to mentor cybersecurity specialists
REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree with at least four (4) years’ experience in cybersecurity specialist field. Four additional years of related experience may substitute for degree.CISA, CRISC, ITIL, CISSP certifications a plus.Highly proficient in IT security, risk and compliance concepts, processes and able to execute existing patterns.Thorough knowledge of new and emerging technologies, well versed in IT concepts, strategies, and methodologies, as well as security aspects of multiple platforms, operating systems, software, communications, and network protocols. Highly capable consultative skills, including the ability to understand and assist in applying customer requirements.

Must have a satisfactory background screening, negative drug test, positive references and proof of identity and legal authorization to work in the United States and for TFSI are required.
