Application/Systems Analyst Senior
Supports the design and management of systems over the entire lifecycle from inception to phase-out. Supports the creation, analysis, and enhancement of internal IT processes, creating scripts to automate internal workflows. Supports routine systems operations and maintenance of infrastructure services. Performs routine tests and documents system issues. Helps develop technical specifications based on user needs. + Supports integrated functionality, usability, reliability, performance and support requirements of a system. + Design and develop reusable components, code and document custom automation frameworks, maintain scripts, and update these items as needed to build continuous delivery pipelines, ensuring rapid availability of the product. + Installs, configures, tests, and maintains operating systems, applications software, and system management tools. + Addresses the day-to-day management and maintenance of infrastructure services, systems, applications, and hardware usage. + Analyzes user needs and shapes the assembly of well-documented functional requirements and technical specifications. + Helps develop technical specifications, interface control documents, test plans and procedures, analyzes configuration and processing solutions, and tests conformance to specifications. + Analyzes business operations and processes to identify opportunities for process improvement, management control of work, or automation. Generates process and solution options and reviews with appropriate stakeholders. + Provides analytical support in the conceptualization, development, and implementation of robust, inter-linked systems. + Researches and documents analysis in technical reports and presents findings and recommendations to meet program requirements. + Conducts technical evaluation, design and readiness reviews, and quality control. + Develops solutions by preparing and evaluating alternative workflow solutions, validate results by testing programmers, and ensure operation by training client personnel and providing support. **Minimum Qualifications** + Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, other relevant field, or equivalent relevant experience. + Advanced computing certification required. + 2-5 years of experience in Systems Engineering/Analysis. **Other Job Specific Skills** + Attention to detail, and a commitment to quality work. + Ability to elicit, analyze, document, and validate the system requirements that support the required system changes to meet the business need. + Must have the ability to work under aggressive deadlines, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize as necessary. + Excellent analytical, comprehension, communication, writing, and interpersonal skills. + Knowledge of server operating systems, network fundamentals and architecture, and database applications. + Ability to provision, install, configure, operate, and maintain systems hardware and software and related infrastructure. + Ability to work with various programming languages, operating systems, and computer hardware platforms. + Capability to creatively solve requirements needs. + Experience applying process and systems engineering, analytics and operations research methods at every phase of a project. **Compensation Ranges** Compensation ranges for ASM Research positions vary depending on multiple factors; including but not limited to, location, skill set, level of education, certifications, client requirements, contract-specific affordability, government clearance and investigation level, and years of experience.
