We are seeking for a collaborative and innovative Application Technologist II. You will be responsible for flavors applications in products under relevant categories or market segments which include Beverages, Sweets and Savory. This is a strong resource to the Technical Services Manager with regard to short and long-range plans, strategies and tactics. 

You will thrive being part of a team of motivated people, be collaborative, however also comfortable working alone. Customer, quality and entrepreneurial focus are essential in this position.

This opportunity is 100% office-based at our Biñan City in Laguna, Philippines office.

What you will do: 

Innovation, development and preparation of prototypes for presentation to key customers Work on new product ideas, using our portfolio of flavours, colours and natural extracts in a variety of food segments Pre-qualify new raw materials and ensure regulatory compliance required for product development  Establish specifications data sheet for new products and keep up on trends for market launches Represent the company, attend various trade organizations and join customer presentations Support the sales team 

What you will bring: 

Bachelor's degree in food science or equivalent education Typically two to five years of experience or a Master's degree and relevant experience  Product and process development experience. Exposed to quality systems such as GMP, HACCP and FSSC Analytical instrument knowledge; product, processing and testing knowledge, including the ability to understand and explain results Willingness to travel up to 10%, including short notice travel
