Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst
Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst for its Irving, TX location. Duties: Enable a real-time streaming data from all Citi Consumer Bank channels. Integrate and design real data streaming framework to drive digital customer insight initiatives. Set up capability by improving data lake’s linkages between data-sets and works with data owners to streamline process – leads to increased speed and accuracy of data collection and validation. Identify opportunities to help our business partners to grow and achieve their goals with the digital insights capabilities and KPI’s. Utilize knowledge of applications development procedures and concepts, and basic knowledge of other technical areas to identify and define necessary system enhancements, including using script tools and analyzing/interpreting code. Consult with users, clients, and other technology groups on issues, and recommend programming solutions, install, and support customer exposure systems. Apply fundamental knowledge of programming languages for design specifications. Analyze applications to identify vulnerabilities and security issues, as well as conduct testing and debugging. Serve as advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts. Act as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members. Identify problems, analyze information, and make evaluative judgements to recommend and implement solutions. Resolve issues by identifying and selecting solutions through the applications of acquired technical experience and guided by precedents. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, and three (3) years of experience in the job offered, or in a related occupation. Three (3) years of experience must include: Utilizing Core Java, Python, JavaScript, Multi-Threading, Exception Handling, and GoF Pattern Designs to develop robust and efficient applications that meet business’s need; Using spring technologies including Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Spring Security, and Spring Data to process large amounts of data in real-time and provide real-time business metrics; Using Kafka, Event-Driven Microservices, and non-relational databases to design and develop highly scalable distributed enterprise applications; Using Redis, RDBMS, NoSQL DB, Apigee, OpenShift Container Platform, Kubernetes to find efficient solutions to address critical business challenges; and Using Splunk, AppDynamics, Jenkins to monitor the application performance and provide devops support.
