Applications Development Technical Lead Analyst
Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Technical Lead Analyst for its Jersey City, NJ location. Duties: Build and support business enterprise applications which includes analyzing business and regulatory requirements, system design, application development, and implementing and productionizing solutions. Ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals as well as identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements. Develop scalable, reliable, and fault tolerant applications with cloud-first architecture and development standards and principles using technologies including J2EE, Spark, Kafka, Zookeeper, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Storm, Oracle, MongoDB, Hadoop, Web Services, Realtime Streaming, Storage Systems, Caching, Microservices, Parallel and Asynchronous Processing, Monitoring, and Instrumentation. Serve as advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary. Evaluate, prioritize, and lead decisions regarding architecture, design, and technology stack to deliver critical solutions for the firm and ensure that they meet the operational standards as mandated. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Applications, Applied Computer Science, Database Management Systems, or a related field, and six (6) years of experience with application development in the IT or financial services industry. Six (6) years of experience must include: Designing and developing enterprise/large scale Controls Assessment applications using Java/J2EE, Spring, Python, AngularJS and Oracle for ad-hoc reports, case management, and workflow management; Data engineering critical projects to develop high-efficiency data pipelines using Spring Boot microservices, Python, Kafka and Talend (ETL) to process large volume source/data feeds from heterogenous data sources across line of business into data store; Building real-time workflow applications using technologies including AngularJS, Kafka, Spark, and Hadoop; Implementing complex web applications using HTML, JSON, JavaScript, CSS, Spring Boot and Oracle; and Utilizing BitBucket, TeamCity, and uDeploy for code build and deployments. 40 hrs./wk.
