Duties: Build and support business enterprise applications which includes analyzing business and regulatory requirements, system design, application development, and implementing and productionizing solutions. Ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals as well as identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements. Develop scalable, reliable, and fault tolerant applications with cloud-first architecture and development standards and principles using technologies including J2EE, Spark, Kafka, Zookeeper, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Storm, Oracle, MongoDB, Hadoop, Web Services, Realtime Streaming, Storage Systems, Caching, Microservices, Parallel and Asynchronous Processing, Monitoring, and Instrumentation. Evaluate, prioritize, and lead decisions regarding architecture, design, and technology stack to deliver critical solutions for the firm and ensure that they meet the operational standards as mandated. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Applications, Applied Computer Science, Database Management Systems, or a related field, and six (6) years of experience with application development in the IT or financial services industry.
