Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst
The Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities. **Responsibilities/Skills:** + Design, develop and manage large size scalable database system for complex application + Lead the projects involving database schema design, writing new store procedures and complex SQL queries + Hands on experience with Oracle, PL/SQL and database montoring + Deep understanding of RDBMS concepts and Data Architecture principles + Hands on experience with Performance tuning, storage optimization and debugging + Produce and present reports and metrics associated with database usage, capacity and maintenance + Create standard procedures and utilities for database logging, cleanup and upgrades + Working knowledge of Unix/Linux Shell commands + Experience working with Git/Bitbucket + Understanding of programming languages like Java and related technologies would be desire + Must have good understanding of SDLC procedures, Change Management procedures and Code Quality and standards + Ability to drive the teams towards common team goals and communicate the plans and progress with senior management Qualifications: + 6-10 years of relevant experience in Apps Development or systems analysis role + Extensive experience system analysis and in programming of software applications + Experience in managing and implementing successful projects + Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one area of Applications Development + Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate + Demonstrated leadership and project management skills + Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication Education: + Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience + Master’s degree preferred This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
