You will interface with customers, account managers and operations staff and will be responsible to coordinate all company resources (product engineering, product line etc) in order to conduct an applications project. In this role you will report to the Supervisor, Applications Engineering, and will work onsite on a daily basis at our Fenton, MI location. Your responsibilities in this role will include + Supports sales in the identification of customer requirements, specifications and preferences. + Develops fastening solutions (product & use recommendations) for customer specific applications. + Conducts existing product modifications in order to fit with customer-specific applications. + Manages VA/VE initiatives (tear down, line review). + Develops and maintains good customer rapport and a positive image through the customer contacts. + Participates in training and technical sessions. + Ensures application best practice sharing with all colleagues. + Completes and submits on a timely basis all required internal information, reports and documents. + Operates within the boundaries of all company guidelines and policies. + Other duties as assigned by manager.
