Job Description
The Applications Engineer will be customer-facing, empowering customers to utilize advanced M5 equipment to drive their products to market faster. The role involves providing support to these customers through various channels including zoom calls, emails, troubleshooting, and onsite visits both domestically and internationally. Travel is required approximately 5-10% of the time internationally, and locally within the Milpitas/South Bay Area as needed, with travel expenses covered.
ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support to customers via zoom calls, emails, and onsite visits.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to test and measurement equipment.Teach customers the basics of test and measurement equipment.Travel internationally 5-10% of the time and locally within the Milpitas/South Bay Area as required.Essential SkillsExperience with test equipment and protocol analyzers.Strong applications support skills.Clear and effective communication skills.Background in Electrical Engineering (EE), Sales, MIPI, SCSI, and UFS.4+ years of experience in a role working with test and measurement equipment.BS in Electrical Engineering (EE).Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in aerospace, defense, environmental monitoring, and medical imaging industries.Work Environment
The Applications Engineer will work closely with the local Milpitas team, including other engineers, the Lead Applications Engineer, and the reporting manager. The work environment emphasizes collaboration and technical excellence, with a focus on providing advanced technology and high reliability to industrial growth markets.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $65.00 - $72.00/hr.
