As an Application Engineer, you will play a vital role in creating technical solutions that fulfill the needs of our customers. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide product guidance and scope for new requisitions . You will also be working and learning with the biggest names in the energy industry. Providing downhole equipment technical expertise for the completions, remediation and abandonment phases.

As a Well Intervention Application Engineer, you will be responsible for:
 

Providing technical input to the well construction, completions, well intervention and abandonment phases of the upstream oil & gas sector.Conducting all activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance and Baker Hughes Core ValuesEvaluating system and component performance in their application. Monitoring for trends and initiate actions to improve reliability/durability/costReducing capital expense and minimizing risk with the implementation of best in class well intervention equipmentIntroducing and executing new technology product launches for clients, potentially on-siteProviding ongoing support to assist operations in providing effective solutions while optimizing the well intervention processMaximizing our customers' return on investment through Well Intervention operationsDeveloping new solutions under guidance and/or in a team settingTraining, developing, and assessing Service Delivery personnel.Development and mentoring of field engineers

To be successful in this role you will:
 

Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent experienceHave a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Well Intervention applicationsHave a minimum of 2 years’ experience of operational excellenceHave a minimum of 2 years of Wellsite applicationsBe able to work well on a cross functional team while supporting operations and engineeringLead analytical and design activities.Have the ability to work with external customers on a regular basis
