Sypnosis
This is an R&D position designed to provide deep technical support to our SERDES IP customers during silicon bring-up and production phases. You’ll be working directly with analog and digital teams to diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
Requires solid debugging and problem-solving expertise and also good communication and coordination skills to drive meetings with customers and provide clear explanation of the debug direction.
Key Qualifications
Electrical/Electronic Engineering degreeExperience with test and debug instrumentationKnow-how in SERDES applicationsFamiliar with PCIe and USB protocol and correspondent link training phasesExcellent organization and communication skillsSelf-motivation, problem solving and attention to detail are highly valued.
Preferred ExperienceUnderstanding of analog IC design Experience with Verilog/RTL interpretation and simulationTest instrumentation and execution of precision measurements. E.g. HiBW scope for jitter measurements, spectrum analyzer, bit error rate tester (BERT), network analyzerHigh-speed electronicsEthernet protocols.
