The Applications Pharmacist defines systems requirements based on user/client needs, cost and required integration with existing applications, systems or platforms, assesses potential impacts of future systems and integrates technology and automation systems within the medication lifecycle. Defines and maintains technical standards and functionality tests. May develop specifications, prototypes or initial user guides. Relies on extensive experience, judgment and familiarity with a variety of practices and procedures across care settings and operational areas to achieve goals. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor of Pharmacy Required. Doctor of Pharmacy Preferred. Five years related experience and/or training in a healthcare setting required. Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.License/Certification/Registration
Registered Pharmacist license issued by South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, or Nebraska Board of Pharmacy.Work Schedule
Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm; 80 hours every 2 weeks
