DESCRIPTION: Duties: Support proprietary and external technology platforms powering the Credit Trading business along with its user base of traders and sales personnel. Support diverse array of modern platforms encompassing client connectivity, eTrading, pricing and analytics, Algo trading, risk management, post trade and regulatory reporting. Support proprietary technology platforms for Credit Trading, Middle Office & Operations in North America. Work with global counterparts on strategic improvement initiatives to evolve and enhance the capabilities of the team. Provide front line support to Credit trading desk. Work on SRE/DevOps projects and automate manual tasks. Work with senior Trading & Technology stakeholders on high- profile systems, and work on a wide variety of technologies, including new platforms being developed in Kubernetes and on AWS. Maintain application systems that are crucial to the daily operations of the trading business. Fix application and data issues as they arise. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Information Assurance, Information Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics, Computer Engineering or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Applications Support, Technology Analyst, IT Analyst, or related occupation. Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Fixed income in Trading and Investment banking; Java; Python; C++; LINUX; UNIX; Autosys; SQL; SQL queries; SQL Server; Sybase; Oracle; KDB; Jenkins; Git; and BitBucket. Job Location: 383 Madison Ave., New York, NY 10017. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week. Full-Time. Salary: $155,000 - $155,000 per year.
