Description We are offering a contract-to-hire for an applications support engineering in surrounding Eastern Iowa Area. In this role, you will be primarily focused on the design, installation, programming, and troubleshooting of electronic control systems for a variety of projects, ensuring all operations comply with standard safety requirements. Here are some key responsibilities: + •Ensure safety compliance with standard safety procedures and guidelines. + Meet task schedules and budgets for hours and materials. + Perform control system programming and hardware installation. + Utilize blueprints and specs to design equipment and systems. + Commission, test, and troubleshoot control systems post-installation. + Integrate protocols from various manufacturers onto unified platforms. + Collaborate with IT personnel for network and remote access integration. + Provide weekly reports on project progress to management. + Identify service contract opportunities and notify sales/management. + Deliver completed work orders and timesheets within deadlines. Requirements • Possess at least 1 year of experience in the contracting industry as a Technical Engineer • Demonstrable knowledge and proficiency in Computer Hardware • Proficient in the use of various Software Programs relevant to the industry • Familiarity with Honeywell products and systems is beneficial • A strong ability to troubleshoot, solve problems, and make data-driven decisions • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively communicate with team members and clients • An understanding of construction regulations and standards • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment • Proven track record of managing projects effectively and meeting deadlines • An engineering degree or equivalent qualification is preferred.
