Nexstar is seeking an Applications Support Specialist. This position will primarily focus on supporting end users by answering questions and troubleshooting issues related to business-critical applications. Qualified applicants should have good analytical problem-solving skills, a fundamental understanding of accounting principles, the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision, and a high level of self-motivation. Duties and Responsibilities: + Provide system & functional support and participate in troubleshooting incidents for all supported applications working closely with end-users and infrastructure teams. + Take ownership of ticket resolution for incidents and requests + Triage service requests, performing routine support tasks and system admin duties, and working with external resources/vendors to resolve more complex requests. + Knowledge and support of ERP releases, version updates and changes, including testing and supporting business users in a testing environment. + Ability to train end users with the functionality of business-critical applications as it relates to best practices. + Ensure system compliance with industry standards and best practices for data security and privacy. Qualifications + Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or related fields. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for getting to the root cause of issues. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional team members. + Experience of 3rd party solutions and integrations is helpful. + Experience with MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint/workflow approvals/Document Management and repository. + Ability to manage and prioritize workload without supervision. + Eagerness to continue to learn and develop your technical skills by staying current with emerging trends, advancements, and best practices in relevant technologies and the ability to assess organizational alignment. + Basic knowledge of Microsoft SQL database (Querying and creating scripts) + The ideal candidate will have general knowledge of Power Platform, Active Directory, and related technologies, as well as general accounting fundamentals. + Prepare documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures. ecialized Requirements + Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations + Answering technical and functional support ticket. + Assisting with the administration duties for D365 F & O and the integrated applications + Configuring and maintaining modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets and Workflows) + System testing + Manage and maintain user access across D365 applications and related environments + Document Management Systems (DocLink) + Ability to create and or maintain custom forms, workflows, and event management. + User access + Ability to write and understand SQL queries. + Basic understanding of OCR (Optical Character Recognition) and document capture. #LI-Onsite Nexstar Media Group, Inc.
