Senior Integration Programmer Analyst provides expert knowledge in analyzing, designing, developing and maintaining HL7 interfaces in a healthcare environment. Serves as technical resource for Epic Bridge, Corepoint and Cloverleaf interface engines: coordinating with internal IT resources, hospital end-users, and application vendors in support of the development and implementation of integration efforts between Epic Applications, interface engine and third-party applications. Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively communicate with technical and functional team members to translate user requirements into working interfaces. Work under little supervision on multiple concurrent projects, while providing 24/7 support and maintenance of Epic, Corepoint and Cloverleaf interfaces. Under general direction, formulates/defines system scope and objectives for systems integration. Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time and form of desired results. Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written. Designs, codes, tests, debugs and documents those programs. Competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming activities. May be responsible for multiple phases of one or more projects. May provide guidance and training to less experienced analysts/programmers.
Essential Duties:
• Researching, designing, programming, testing, debugging, training, documenting, releasing, installing and supporting any system supported by BHS-IS.
• May provide technical leadership, guidance, and training to other technical staff.
• Displays creative thinking and resolves problems.
• Works with IS Staff, users and vendors to find the best technological means to meet business needs.
• Develops specifications and conducts research with the assistance of IS Staff, users and vendors to design, create, develop, or enhance computer applications.
• Prepares the required documents in accordance with BHS programming standards, policies and procedures.
• Keeps abreast of current and new technologies and serves as a resource to other technical staff.
• Participates in project teams, special projects and other tasks as assigned by Director or designated Team Leader.
• Accomplishes goals and objectives within set deadlines.
• Provides good customer relations across the range of BHS activities including Support Services, BHS Business Units, vendors, and IDS members.

Minimum Education, Experience, Training and Licensures Required
Bachelor’s degree with four years' experience
Minimum four years direct experience in lieu of degree.
Some travel as well as evening and weekend work may be required from time to time.
