A Tops CDL Class A Driver is to drive a tractor trailer in a safe and responsible manner to stores and other locations delivering and picking up merchandise. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Hook up tractor and trailer. Perform pre-trip, mid-trip, and post-trip inspections. Completely and accurately fill out all company and government required paperwork (ex. Logbooks (paper and electronic), vehicle condition reports). Drive tractor trailer to destination following company prescribed directions. Unload or unhook trailer at store location. Use straps, bars, and/or dunnage to secure loads between stops. Wash and clean tractor and trailer as needed. Follow all safety policies and company guidelines. Adhere to all DOT rules and regulations Other duties may be assigned MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Must be 21 years of age or older and have a Commercial Driver’s License Class A and air break endorsements for vehicles up to 80,000 gross vehicle weight.
