Pay Rate Starting at: Level $29.50 / hr Rates of pay are determined by labor contract seniority.

SUMMARY

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Hook up tractor and trailer. Perform pre-trip, mid-trip, and post-trip inspections. Completely and accurately fill out all company and government required paperwork (ex. Logbooks (paper and electronic), vehicle condition reports). Drive tractor trailer to destination following company prescribed directions. Unload or unhook trailer at store location. Use straps, bars, and/or dunnage to secure loads between stops. Wash and clean tractor and trailer as needed. Follow all safety policies and company guidelines. Adhere to all DOT rules and regulations Other duties may be assigned MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Must be 21 years of age or older and have a Commercial Driver’s License Class A and air break endorsements for vehicles up to 80,000 gross vehicle weight.   Must meet all DOT requirements as prescribed by the "Federal Motor Carriers Safety Regulations Book" EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Ability to read, write, and perform basic math functions Possess basic computer skills Possess strong communication skills GED recommended but not required 6-12 months of warehouse experience recommended but not required EQUIPMENT USED Air Break Vehicle up to 80,000 gross weight vehicle
