THE JOB:
As an Apprentice Bartender at Bellagio, you will be responsible for assisting the bartender and maintaining the appearance of the bar. In this role you will work at various bars around the property and will be expected to perform all responsibilities at each location. You will also set the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW memories they will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.
THE STARTING RATE: $15.6537 hourly plus tips
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Assist the bartender with preparation of drinks, mixes, and garnishes
Maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and appearance of the bar area
Maintain sufficient stock of all items and products in designated work areas
Ensure proper setup, labeling, stocking and delivery of alcohol, nonâalcoholic beverages, supplies, glasses, paper products, garnishes, and ice
Clean equipment, tools, supplies, polish glassware and ensure equipment is in working order
Promote and maintain the highest level of service to all guests while staying alert to their needs and respond effectively to guest inquiries
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Work varied on-call shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Prior experience in a high-volume environment as a bartender or apprentice bartender
In-depth knowledge of various liquors, spirits, wines, and cocktails, with the ability to recommend and serve beverages that enhance the guest experience.
Strong customer service background, with the ability to create personalized experiences and address guest needs promptly and professionally.
