**Job Title: Apprentice Electrician** **Job Description** We are seeking a qualified Apprentice Electrician to join our team for construction projects based in Savannah, Georgia. This position is responsible for assisting the lead electrician with installing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, ensuring that work is done in accordance with relevant codes. The work involves the technical application of electrical principles using the appropriate equipment and implementing the required safety practices. **Responsibilities** + Assist lead electrician with installing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. + Ensure all work is done in accordance with relevant electrical codes. + Perform rough-ins and finals installation of conduit and MC cable. + Install electrical panels, lighting fixtures, switches, outlets, and wiring in equipment. + Execute start-up and energizing procedures of equipment. + Work on fire systems. + Focus work in common areas such as main floor, basement work areas for employees, hallways, stairwells, restaurant, and rooftop bar. + Provide necessary tools, including a knife, pliers/linemen, screwdrivers, nut drivers, keyhole saw, hacksaw, hammer, level (small 12"), channel locks 2, needle nose pliers/long nose pliers, voltage meter/tester, tool pouch/belt for electrical, diagonal pliers, wrenches (standard/metric), taps (6/32, 8/32, 10/24), wire strippers, socket set, tape measure (at least 25 ft.), side cutters, flashlight, cordless drill/impact drill, wrench set, and crescent wrench. **Essential Skills** + Must have 1+ years of experience with commercial electrical work. + Experience with hotel electrical systems is preferred. + Ability to install lighting, panels, switches, outlets, and all other electrical aspects. + Understanding of electrical codes. + Proficiency in reading blueprints. + Experience with troubleshooting, conduit bending, cable repair, and electrical wiring. + Knowledge of running MC cable and pulling cable. + Use of all necessary electrical tools for the job. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pooler, Georgia **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $22.00/hr. • Medical, dental & vision • Critical Illness, Accident, and Hospital • 401(k) Retirement Plan – Pre-tax and Roth post-tax contributions available • Life Insurance (Voluntary Life & AD&D for the employee and dependents) • Short and long-term disability • Health Spending Account (HSA) • Transportation benefits • Employee Assistance Program • Time Off/Leave (PTO, Vacation or Sick Leave) **Workplace Type** This is a fully onsite position in Savannah,GA. **Application Deadline** This position is anticipated to close on Feb 3, 2025. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
