**Electrical Apprentice - Grand Rapids, MI** **Job Description** As an Electrical Apprentice, you will work under the guidance of experienced journeymen and foremen to gain hands-on experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems. Your responsibilities will span a wide range of tasks, from conduit installation to reading blueprints, ensuring you develop the skills needed to become a proficient electrician. **Responsibilities** + Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems. + Install a variety of electrical systems including, motor control centers, electrical panels, fire alarms, conveyor systems, lighting fixtures, and power systems. + Install feeder and branch conduit such as EMT, IMC, Rigid PVC, and PVC-coated rigid conduit. + Perform bending, cutting, and threading of conduit in all sizes and types. + Pull branch conduit wire and assist in the installation of underground wiring. + Read and interpret blueprints and schematics. **Essential Skills** + 4000+ logged hours of electrical work experience. + Experience with installing various electrical systems. + Ability to perform bending, cutting, and threading of conduit. + Experience with EMT, IMC, Rigid PVC, and PVC-coated rigid conduit. + Ability to read blueprints and schematics. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + OSHA 10 Certification. + Apprenticeship Card. **Why Work Here?** Our company offers comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance, along with a 401k plan with matching contributions.
