**Overview** Dignity Health Mercy San Juan Medical Center is a 370-bed not-for-profit Level 2 Trauma Center located in Carmichael California serving the areas of north Sacramento County and south Placer County for more than 50 years. Mercy San Juan Medical Center has received recognition for being a Comprehensive Stroke Center and Center of Excellence for Bariatric Surgery along with Certificates of Excellence in Perinatal Care Hip- and Knee- Replacement. **Responsibilities** The Apprentice Engineer provides a variety of maintenance skills development including preventive maintenance and repairs to the building and grounds, related fixed and portable equipment, and installation under the supervision of the Chief Engineer and/or Assistant Engineer, while successfully performing the Apprentice Program.applies DIGNITY HEALTH Core Values to the performance of every job duty. + Ensures a professional and responsive atmosphere by greeting patients, visitors, staff, and physicians promptly andcourteously. Stationary Engineers Local 39 Union Engineer Apprenticeship program. **Licensure:** + Valid California Drivers License. **Training:** + Completion of annual safety training. + Completes and maintains required unit specific training. **Pay Range** $40.21 - $61.86 /hour We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
