**PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION**
Under direct supervision, performs instrument and control and associated tasks in accordance with plant approved procedures and surveillance requirements.
**PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES**
+ Under general supervision, performs instrument, control and associated tasks which the apprentice has successfully completed in the Apprenticeship Program.
+ Maintains the cleanliness and housekeeping of workshops and equipment in current work areas.
+ Completes training in the apprenticeship program at a pace and knowledge level prescribed in the Apprentice and Training Standard.
**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**
+ Must have a high school education with demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand English and perform mathematical calculations.
+ Must have no restrictions preventing use of respiratory equipment or preventing the performance of instrument, control and associated work tasks.
+ Must have no physical or age restrictions preventing radiation exposure within Federal limits for radiation workers.
+ Must pass aptitude test.
+ Must demonstrate dexterity for Instrument and Control Trade.
+ Must be accepted by the Apprentice Committee as an Apprentice Instrument and Control Technician.
Hourly Pay $38.46
