Job DescriptionBosch is currently accepting applicants for the next apprentice class which starts on July 7, 2025. Spaces are limited.
Bosch’s award-winning Mechatronics Apprenticeship program provides participants with a unique opportunity to earn an Associate Degree in Mechatronics from Trident Technical College while being a paid full-time employee with Robert Bosch. During the Apprenticeship Program participants, for a duration of two years, will attend classes at both Trident Technical College (TTC) and Robert Bosch learning the fundamentals of mechanical and electrical systems. Students will be trained on new technology through qualification cards, labs, job shadowing and hands on assignments to equip them with the knowledge and skills needed to become successful Technicians at the Charleston facility upon graduation.
Apprentices will:
Attend and complete courses at Bosch Charleston and Trident Technical College (TTC).Our Apprentices will earn credit towards an Associate Degree in Mechatronics from Trident Technical College.Complete hand-on projects applying the knowledge gained through course work. Projects include machining, soldering, design & fabrication of assembly station, control cabinet construction, programming, and automation.Shadow Technicians across multiple departments and product lines. Upon completion of the 2-year Apprenticeship program, apprentices will transition into a Manufacturing Technician position at Bosch Charleston.Apprentices are full-time Bosch associates and are eligible for Health and Wealth benefits starting their first day including: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and Paid Time Off.Over the course of our 49-year history in the Low-Country, we have built our reputation as a company focused on the training, development, and personal growth of our workforce. QualificationsA resume must be included with your application.Must be eligible to attend Trident Technical College (TTC).Previous or current TTC students must be in good standing with TTC both academically and financially.Applicants must be able to perform all physical duties of a skilled labor associate (i.e. heavy lifting, prolonged standing, bending, twisting, reaching).While attending the program, Apprentices will work 1st shift hours, however, upon graduation Apprentices must be able to work any shift.As part of the application process, applicants will be required to take the Trident Tech Accuplacer Test and a Ramsey Multicraft Aptitude Test. Testing times and locations will be provided during the interview process.Preferred Qualifications:
