Job Description
We are seeking an Apprentice level tradesperson for a commercial project in Chula Vista, with opportunities to work at various other locations around the county. The ideal candidate must have 3-4 years of experience in hanging and finishing drywall and possess a strong knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in the trade. Open to entry level as well,
ResponsibilitiesConstruct and install drywall using metal stud framer/hanger/finisher hand tools and power tools.Follow blueprints and specifications as directed by the Lead.Frame walls, hang and finish drywall, and install ceilings with efficiency and quality.Prepare or assist with layout using lasers, squares, chalk lines, and other tools.Essential Skills3-4 years of experience in hanging, taping, and finishing drywall at a commercial level.Proficiency in using basic drywall tools including hand tools, screwdrivers, knives, and tapping pans.Ability to follow blueprints and specifications.Additional Skills & QualificationsMust be an Apprentice level tradesperson.Must have all necessary tools and PPE.Experience with commercial projects is preferred.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The initial project will be in Chula Vista, with subsequent projects at various commercial locations around the county. The work involves commercial store environments.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chula Vista, California.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
