Apprentice Trailer Technicians are to perform maintenance services in which the volume and quality of work is within the acceptably measures standards for a Dayton Freight Lines.

Learns to perform basic maintenance and part replacement procedures by observing, assisting and asking questionsAssists senior technicians when ask to do soDevelops skills in the diagnosis and repair of all DFL trailer componentsLearns to effectively and efficiently perform PM inspections and servicesPerforms service callsPerforms other maintenance duties or assignments as necessaryA leading participant in the care and upkeep of the shop, the grounds and all equipment and toolsMaintains a clean, safe environment that complies to OSHA and company standardsProficient in recording all work and labor on a computer in the EMS systemWorks with the Parts Department to assure that all necessary material, parts, service, and shop supplies are maintained at proper quantity levelsWorks in compliance to EPA and DOT regulations and Company safety requirementsContinuously improves processes Qualifications Possess a valid Driver's LicenseAble to pass a drug screenFluent in EnglishLegally eligible to work in the United StatesMust be at least 18 years of age Benefits On-the- job training, ASE Certification not requiredStable and growing organizationCompetitive weekly payQuick advancementLaundered UniformsProfessional, positive and people-centered work environmentModern facilitiesClean, late model equipmentComprehensive benefits package: Health, Dental, Vision, AD&D, etc.Paid holidays (8); paid vacation and personal days401(k) plan, Company Match
