Responsibilities 1st Shift - (5:00 am - 3:30 pm) Monday through Thursday Starting Pay - $15.55/hr Pay Grade HRJ002 Department 205 MSA Safety in Jacksonville, North Carolina is seeking an energetic individual to join our team as an Assembler II in a manufacturing environment. This position will report the Production Supervisor. In this role you will be counted on to perform the following tasks: Responsibilities: Assembly of a limited variety of products or sub-assemblies of small, light to average weight parts following standard procedures. Assembly and fit parts to close tolerances. Requires aligning, fitting, and adjusting parts to meet operating requirements of unit. Use of hand and/or power tools. May perform incidental electrical, mechanical connections/assembly. Referring to drawings, diagrams, or blueprints as guides for performing assembly tasks. Packaging finished products. Other general assembly and material handling tasks as assigned by Supervisor. Qualifications Requirements: Ability to: read and write, ability to comprehend and follow work, quality, and safety instructions. lift up to 25 pounds repeatedly. stand for extended periods of time. adapt to changing priorities and good disposition to interact and communicate with employees at all organizational levels. comprehend and follow work, quality, and safety instructions. Adequate dexterity to reach acceptable levels of efficiency. Mechanical skills, ability to use hand and power tools. High School Diploma or GED. Must have no disciplinary action records for any reason at or above the written warning level within the previous twelve months. Preferred: 6 months in a manufacturing environment.
