Provides care and treatment within his/her scope of practice as delineated by his/her education and training. **The value you’ll bring to the team:** + Provides primary care and treatment to patients under the auspices of the supervising physician + Assures timely and accurate entries of medical histories, progress notes and treatment recommendations in the patients’ medical records + Provides service in accordance with policies and procedures + Practices within scope of practice as delineated by education and training including, but not limited to: + Conforms to prescriptive privileges + Obtains co-signature by the supervising physician on all prescriptions written + Does not prescribe narcotics + Refers patients for laboratory, x-ray and specialty care for needed services that cannot be provided at the practice + Assures that adequate patient health records are maintained and transferred, as required, when patient care is transferred + Participates with supervising physician in a periodic review of the patients’ health records. + Assures all patient management documentation, including pharmaceutical modalities, is outlined in the patient’s medical record and signed by the supervising physician. **The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:** **Minimum qualifications:** + Bachelor's Degree Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) with a Bachelor’s degree in nursing + State of Florida license or compact state licensure as a Registered Nurse and ARNP + Basic Life Support (BLS) certification + Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification + Due to the diversity of care provided, total proficiency will be achieved through the normal work routine over a one year period of employment **Preferred qualifications:** + One (1) or more years experience in a Cardiology setting This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
