The function of the AQR Audit Program Manager is to provide leadership, oversight, and day to day management of the AQR Global Compliance internal investigations team. This includes liaising with all division /sites across Abbott for scheduling, execution and close out of all investigation activities **What You’ll Work On** + Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop a team of professionals to ensure activities are conducted to high standards of accuracy, rigor, and credibility and according to regulations and industry standards. + Plan, prioritize, and manage assignments efficiently to budget. + Develop, evaluate, and review procedures and standards to ensure that audits are conducted rigorously and consistently. + Evaluate investigation findings and mentor team to ensure consistently high standard of work. + Ensure Right First-Time documentation for review and approval by Senior Management. + Make recommendations to senior management for improving the organization’s quality system and regulatory compliance processes and systems. + Coordinate projects involving external auditors (consultants) to ensure they have appropriate access to information and people within the organization and to ensure the organization receives satisfactory standards of service. + Plan, direct, and monitor activities to minimize risk. + Improve the performance and productivity of the organization's quality system, regulatory compliance, and managerial processes and systems. + Ensure that the organization complies with all relevant regulations, laws, and standards. **Accountability/Scope** + This position is responsible for ensuring that executive management is aware of compliance business risks and regulatory requirements.
