The function of the AQR Audit Program Manager is to provide leadership, oversight, and day to day management of the AQR Global Compliance internal investigations team. This includes liaising with all division /sites across Abbott for scheduling, execution and close out of all investigation activities **What You’ll Work On** + Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop a team of professionals to ensure activities are conducted to high standards of accuracy, rigor, and credibility and according to regulations and industry standards. + Plan, prioritize, and manage assignments efficiently to budget. + Develop, evaluate, and review procedures and standards to ensure that audits are conducted rigorously and consistently. + Evaluate investigation findings and mentor team to ensure consistently high standard of work. + Ensure Right First-Time documentation for review and approval by Senior Management. + Make recommendations to senior management for improving the organization’s quality system and regulatory compliance processes and systems. + Coordinate projects involving external auditors (consultants) to ensure they have appropriate access to information and people within the organization and to ensure the organization receives satisfactory standards of service. + Plan, direct, and monitor activities to minimize risk. + Improve the performance and productivity of the organization's quality system, regulatory compliance, and managerial processes and systems. + Ensure that the organization complies with all relevant regulations, laws, and standards. **Accountability/Scope** + This position is responsible for ensuring that executive management is aware of compliance business risks and regulatory requirements. The position is continually required to make technical decisions that affect product quality **Supervisory Responsibilities** + Supervision of senior technical team (up to and including grade 19 and 20) **Required Qualifications** + Four year Bachelor (BSc) degree or equivalent in a scientific, technical or compliance discipline or equivalent. + Individual must have excellent oral and written communication skills + Personal skills needed include tact, open-mindedness, maturity, tenacity, decisiveness and sound judgement + At least ten (10) years in Quality Assurance or related experience in the medical device / pharmaceutical industry / nutrition industry / related industry. + Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Quality System standards and regulatory requirements such as 21 CFR 820; CFR 210/211, ISO 13485; IVDD;ISO 22000 etc. + Must have previous Managerial/Supervisory Experience + Must have experience working within a Corporate (AQR) role Learn more about our health and wellness benefits, which provide the security to help you and your family live full lives: www.abbottbenefits.com (http://www.abbottbenefits.com/pages/candidate.aspx) Follow your career aspirations to Abbott for diverse opportunities with a company that can help you build your future and live your best life.
