**About the role:**
The B2B Field Sales position is the primary front line sales representative for AQI. You are vital to our company's ability to deliver customer value and drive accelerated growth. You will build and foster relationships with prospective new customers and helping them solve their toughest water monitoring challenges.
You will be responsible for the full sales cycle, from lead to close, while simultaneously sharing knowledge of customer challenges with our product teams to help us innovate. You will develop meaningful customer relationships focused on driving value to our customers and measured by net new customer growth, revenue growth, and engagement with our products and services.
Working from a home office and reporting to our Director of Sales, this highly autonomous role requires an entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to develop and execute on a sales plan and manage your territory in the **Mid-Atlantic** region of the U.S. ( **New Jersey, Philadelphia, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia** ). This includes partnership with other Veralto sellers (Hach, OTT Hydromet).
The candidate should live near a major airport, ideally in the Greater Philadelphia or DMV (District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia) areas.
This position will be based **remotely** from your home office.
**In this role, a typical day will look like:**
+ Traveling about **50%** of the time to meet with current & potential clients throughout the mid-Atlantic region
+ Working **remotely** from your home office when you aren’t on the road
+ Learning new software applications & tools to help with the challenges our customers face in meeting regulatory requirements
+ Working through the **full sales cycle** with customers, from lead to close
**The essential requirements of the job include:**
+ 5+ years of experience in water industry or adjacent field B2B sales where you've carried a quota, consistently closed deals, & exceeded targets.
+ Strong track record of achieving results as an effective consultative cross-functional seller motivated to succeed
+ Demonstrated ability to ask questions and listen to customers at various levels of an organization and clearly communicate value
+ Proven success learning new software applications quickly, familiarity with SalesForce as a CRM is a plus
+ Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% of the time.
**It would also be great to have:**
+ Familiarity with the environmental and/or the water industry is preferred.
+ Consultative solutions-based sales or direct sales experience preferred.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Incentive Pay.
