Aquatics Maintenance Technician (Full & Part Time)

Maintains all pools and hot tubs in good repair to ensure an attractive, safe, and well maintained facility. Opens and closes all aquatics facilities. Aquatics Maintenance Technicians are responsible for the physical appearance and functioning of all pools and spas by maintaining water chemical balance, pumps, filters, and physical properties to ensure clean, clear, and attractive pools and spas.

 

This position requires a strong work ethic, being safety oriented, and the ability to work independently. A positive attitude, mechanical skills, and organizational skills are essential. Must be 18 years or older. Starting Pay: $19.00 per hour

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

Performs water testing including advanced water monitoring and adjusts chemical water balance. Follows established company policy and procedures and all applicable state and federal regulations pertaining to the handling, storage and disposal of hazardous materials and hazardous waste. Performs or assists in opening or closing of resort pools daily. Assists with the safe and satisfactory mechanical functions and presentation of all the pool facilities. Assists in monitoring supply inventory. Performs a variety of preventive maintenance tasks including cleaning injections sites, backwashing pools, cleaning filter baskets, replacing injection site hardware, switching CO 2 tanks, cleaning impellors, and erosion feeder maintenance. Performs seasonal maintenance required for the opening and closing of seasonal facilities. Other duties in accordance with job description and as assigned
