About British Swim School

At British Swim School, we do not just teach fun swim lessons. We are a team of people serious about saving lives and serious about having fun while doing it. Since 1981, British Swim School has been the pioneer of teaching water survival skills to children as young as three months old and working with swimmers on stroke development after they fall in love with the sport of swimming. We are doing our part to stop drowning from continuing as the leading cause of accidental death in children ages 1-4 yrs.

Responsibilities Assisting with business growth and attracting new customers Providing the initial training in the BSS swim method and the ongoing development of all our swim teachers Using BSS Instructor assessment and development tools/checklists to maintain lesson quality Evaluating swim instructor performance and creating performance improvement plans as necessary Commute to each of our pools, located in Pottstown and Royersford  
Qualifications Experience working with children and a passion for our mission of water safety and survival Experience with setting and maintaining standards for a service business A track record in the world of swimming and fitness teaching/management  Bachelor's Degree and 1-2 years supervisory experience desirable A Lifeguard certification – or ability to renew (or this can be provided) Fluency in English – and another language is a real bonus!
