About Lakewood Regional Support
Our regional support center provides resources to our hotels for multiple areas including Human Resources, Engineering, Purchasing, Accounting, Security, Group Reservations, Guest Contact Center, Information Technology, Laundry and Communications.
Job Specific
Conduct aquatic training classes, in-service training drills and internal spot checksResponsible to ensure all aquatic areas maintain compliance with the Starguard Elite ProgramPerform regular spot checks and correct any violations immediatelyLifeguard training classes will be conducted for new hires and recertification of current team membersConduct in-service training drills to all team members per the requirements set by the Starguard Elite ProgramAudits Pool Service Manager’s records of logs/checklistsMaintains database of all records, logs, and lifeguard certificationsResponsible to compile data and filter exception reports for distribution to Risk Management and Executive CommitteeCompiles and produces statistical reports used by Risk Management and LHUO Executive CommitteeMakes suggestion/recommendations for corrective action to Pool Service Manager and hotel Executive Committee when warranted Prepare and submit all required certifications and general information to the Starguard Elite Portal per required standardsAttend all appropriate meetingsAble to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidaysOther duties as assignedGeneral

High School Diploma or equivalentBachelor’s degree preferredMinimum two years experience in supervising aquatics facility with multi-pool/spa areas in a large resort environmentAbility to master the Starguard Elite Instructor Trainer CertificationProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point)Ability to maintain accurate database files to support document complianceAbility to learn and maintain other databases required by Risk Management Excellent guest service/communication skills both oral and writtenSelf-starter, multi-task and organization skillsMust hold valid Class E Drivers License and meet eligibility criteria for travel throughout resort complex
