Job Title: AR/AP SpecialistJob Description We are seeking an AR/AP Specialist for a 12-week assignment. The role involves performing basic accounting functions, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cutting checks. This position offers a hybrid schedule and the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive educational institution. Responsibilities + Perform basic accounting functions + Handle accounts receivable and accounts payable + Cut checks as required + Use any AR/AP system efficiently Essential Skills + Experience in accounts payable + Experience in accounts receivable + Proficiency with any accounting system + Experience cutting checks + Ability to start immediately Additional Skills & Qualifications + Located in the Troy, MI area (Open to remote candidates with the right skills) + Associate's degree (preferred) Work Environment The work environment includes a hybrid schedule with 2-3 days in the office. The role is based in a modern business office on a small college campus in Troy, MI. The setting provides a supportive community and opportunities for professional networking and growth. The office space includes modern amenities and glass conference rooms. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
