AR/billing Specialist
Job Title: Billing SpecialistJob Description As a Billing Specialist, you will be responsible for processing data, posting receipts, and managing cash transactions. This role includes analyzing and auditing job content and costs by verifying data accuracy, processing invoices accurately and timely, and monitoring daily unbilled jobs to ensure timely processing. You will also analyze prep sheets and old job tickets for comparison and other information, input invoice details into accounting software for accurate financial reporting, and prepare and maintain billing records. Essential Skills + Data entry + Accounting systems + Accounting + Accounts receivable + Invoicing + Accounting software + 10-key proficiency Additional Skills & Qualifications + High school diploma and/or 1 year of data processing/input experience. + Some understanding of bookkeeping procedures. + Experience with Excel and Outlook. + Experience processing invoices is heavily preferred. Work Environment This position is located in a cubicle-style office in downtown Des Moines. It is 100% in-office with the potential for a hybrid schedule after the training/contract period. The company is one of the largest privately held printing companies in the country and offers significant room for growth within the accounting team, with the possibility of promotions within 6 months to a year. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
