Job Description: Accounts Receivable Specialist
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage the full cycle of accounts receivable processes. This role will involve invoicing, posting payments, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely collection of payments from clients. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in business-to-business collections and will collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, posting payments, and account reconciliation.Monitor outstanding balances and follow up with clients to ensure prompt payment.Conduct business-to-business collections while maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach.Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and address client inquiries.Prepare and analyze aging reports, identify delinquent accounts, and implement collection strategies.Maintain accurate records of all transactions and communications related to accounts receivable.Assist in month-end closing processes, including account reconciliation and report preparation.Generate and distribute regular reports on receivables performance and key metrics.Work closely with the credit department to assess credit risk and establish client credit limits.Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar role.Proven experience in business-to-business collections.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, vlookups, and other advanced functions.Comfortable working with key performance indicators (KPIs) and meeting targets.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle is a plus.Work Environment:
Onsite position, with working hours from Monday to Friday (either 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM).Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
