AR Specialist/Accounting Assistant

Bonita National Golf & Country Club is currently seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented AR Specialist/Accounting Assistant to join our finance team. This role involves significant interaction with our members, and we’re looking for someone who excels in both member relations and accounting functions.

The ideal candidate for this position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our members while also performing a variety of accounting tasks. This role involves managing financial transactions, handling member inquiries, and ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial information.

Key Responsibilities:

AR Specialist: Serve as a primary point of contact for member inquiries related to monthly and annual billing, account status, and financial transactions. Resolve member issues and concerns in a timely and professional Provide clear and helpful information to members regarding their accounts and Maintain a positive and supportive relationship with members, enhancing their overall experience with the company. Accounting Functions: Process and record financial transactions, including invoices, payments, and Maintain accurate and organized financial records and Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and Conduct regular audits of accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with company Administrative Support: Assist with the preparation and processing of member account documentation and Coordinate with other departments to address member needs and ensure seamless service Perform general office duties such as filing, data entry, and managing

Qualifications:

Education: Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role with significant customer or member interaction. Skills: Proficient in accounting and Club software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Northstar experience a plus but not required.
