Job Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are seeking an entry level AR specialist to join a global luxury fashion brand!

Responsibilities:

Verify transactions to identify outstanding items in ERP system (90% automated process) which leaves the outstanding items in separate queSeek to understand why the system did not smooth-over the transaction (this could include a variety of different things, including: non-corresponding dates, dollar-amounts not matching [to the penny]), etc)Review the transaction of the store journal to research why their is inaccuracy and will have to communicate with the store locations.Additionally, this role will have the responsibility of dealing with different types of reconciliations - the transactions will be coming through \"distant sales\"Work through the specific sales related to curbside pick-up, identifying the matching transaction from \"distant-sales\" to the register itself at a particular store-location. Hard SkillsProficient in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables & Vlookups - MUST HAVE!)Basic accounting knowledge (understanding of debiting and crediting accounts; will NOT have to post to GL)Retail experience at the office/store-level (helps to understand the big picture of reconciling transactions)Reconciliation experience (preferably from a bank reconciliation standpoint)Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 4 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Wayne, New Jersey and some days remote.
