We are looking for our Executive Chef/Culinary Director! This position is only responsible for Monday through Friday Dinner, special events, and preparation for Continental Breakfast, and has no late nights! We cannot wait to speak with you about this incredible role!
Our Executive Chef/Culinary Director:
Creates standard and seasonal menus using top quality ingredients and ensuring the utmost satisfaction of our Arbordale residents. Helps hire and train new Team Members, building a passion for the culinary arts! Prepares and help serve evening meals Monday-Friday Periodically reviews the menu and food service with our residents to ensure satisfaction and brainstorm new menu ideas! Practices and observes all safety and loss prevention procedures. Prepares reports for department usage, inventory, and expenses in a timely basis. Performs other duties as assigned.
What you need to succeed!
High school diploma or the equivalent education, training and experience. Culinary degree preferred. Five years’ experience as chef, chef in hotel, restaurant, club, or other similar employment, with a focus on fine dining. Experience in menus for restricted diets. Excellent oral, written, and verbal communication skills. Knowledge in all areas of local Health Department, OSHA, and other regulatory agencies. Able to meet budgets and control costs.
