What will you be responsible for?
As an Arborist, you'll be working within the Arboricultural team, supporting them in pruning, sectional felling, maintaining and keeping the network safe and within city standards.
Your day to day will include:
Setting up safe working sites on the highway Liaising with members of the public on-site if approached. Following and complying with safe systems of work, risk assessments, ICoP, and training Carrying out safety critical emergency works when required Completing any paperwork required on time i.e. LOLER check sheets, and HAVS forms, assisting in the completion of point of work risk assessments
What are we looking for?
This role of Arborist is great for you if:
You hold qualifications up to and including City & Guilds Level 2 Certificate of Competence in Using a Chainsaw from a Rope and Harness (CS 39) Have a valid CSCS card, with experience and knowledge of strict health & safety operations and the related practical implications Can drive and hold a full driving licenceWe're all about finding potential here at Kier, and transferrable skills are always welcome!
